A well-designed competency framework can help organisations enhance their capabilities by helping staff focus on key behaviours such as adaptability, decisiveness and teamwork.
Culture & Competency
In the rail industry, we led a culture change project and set up and ran regional assessment centres to aid restructuring. At the City of London we facilitated workshops to compile competency - based role profiles and trained line managers in competency assessment. In addition to listing the necessary knowledge, tasks and responsibilities in a role profile or job description, some organisations include details of the behavioural competencies required to carry out the job.
